The Destination Networks Country and Outback NSW Management Plan exist to guide industry on priorities strategies and required actions that will drive the growth of the visitor economy at a regional level. The plan provides the foundations on which future local plans can be built and updated to provide a common vision. This document is an adaptable plan that will be reviewed annually by DNCO in consultation with Destination NSW and industry stakeholders.

NSW Aboriginal Tourism Toolkit
The NSW Government has announced $13 million in regional tourism funding, between 2016 and 2019, to support the regional tourism industry in NSW. Funding is available through several streams;
This program is available to undertake a Cooperative Tourism Marketing Program which will be led by Destination NSW. Available for local government, Destination Networks, tourism and sector organisations (GST registered), located or representing industry within the six new Destination Networks.
This program offers between $15,000 and $150,000 for eligible projects that satisfactorily meet the assessment criteria. The funding must be, at least, matched dollar-for-dollar. Proposals can be submitted by local government, tourism and sector organisations, including Destination Networks, and industry (GST registered), located within the six Destination Networks.
This program identifies and supports events in regional NSW that have the potential to act as a ‘cornerstone’ or flagship tourism event for their area by attracting overnight visitation and delivering long term benefits to the region.

Media and industry operators can search and download images for free from Destination NSW’s image library. The collection is constantly being updated and includes great images of city and regional destinations, experiences and events.
