Michael brings 25 years’ experience in the dynamic landscape of the tourism industry, where he has excelled in a multifaceted array of executive leadership positions including: destination marketing (Tourism Australia and Destination NSW); airlines (Virgin Australia Group); retail and online retail (Traveland, Wotif Group, NRMA Travel); hotels (Event Hospitality) and a range of roles at the NRMA covering loyalty, tourism cruises and public ferries.

Michael is a proud of his Aboriginal ancestry and is passionate about supporting emerging First Nations tourism enterprises.

General Manager Tourism Development – NRMA GROUP &
General Manager Sales & Marketing (NRMA Marine)

Responsible for identifying, evaluating and securing tourism investment opportunities for the NRMA Group. Responsible for developing the commercial growth strategy for NRMA Marine (MyFastFerry, Fantasea Cruises and Gordon River Cruises) and leading the end-to-end sales and marketing program including brand, product, customer experience, retail sales, online sales, distribution and digital marketing.
